Dear Madison School Parents:
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Our school has many excellent traditions and events, and I encourage you to take part. Our goal is to have your child receive an excellent education that allows each student to be their best. I look forward to serving the Madison school community as principal. I share the following quote from Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot’s book, The Essential Conversation, sums up my beliefs about the importance of school to family partnerships:
To parents, their child is the most important person in their lives,
the one who arouses their deepest passions and greatest vulnerabilities,
the one who inspires their fiercest advocacy and protection…
Their productive engagement with the teacher is essential for the child’s learning and growth, and for the parents’ peace of mind.
I look forward to partnering with you as a team to help each student have a successful year! It’s always a GREAT DAY to be a Madison Eagle!
